Abs Lounge Exercises

November 23rd, 2007

Many people who have bad backs believe that the Ab Lounge is a good investment because it is an easier way for them to do their abs exercises. If your intent is to buy it because you believe that it is more effective to use and do exercises as appose to other abs exercises. Maybe you believe that it will help you lower and eventually get rid of the fat that is on your stomach and that it will help you lose weight then, you maybe sadly mistaken.

You may also waste your money because unfortunately, it does not help do any of these things. Simple abs crunches would be much better. Why? Because exercise machines do some of the work for you they keep your body stable. When you do not do exercises on a machine you are required to use muscles that will help stabilize your body the more muscles that your body uses the better results you will see.

It is scientifically proven that you ca not just target the fat in a certain area. Exercises actually work muscles, so if you have and maintain a proper diet, then that will get rid of the body fat. The name of the Ab Lounge is absolutely correct; you get to lounge on it. If you would just like a machine that will help you with abs exercises even though they are less efficient it is better doing plain old crunches than spend your money on an a machine. If you have a bad back and believe that purchasing the abs lounge will help you do ab exercises then by all means purchase the abs lounge, if your looking for extra furniture that you can lounge in around your living room then by all means invest in the abs lounge.

However if you would like to either save your money and put it to better use then I suggest you keeping doing crunches have a proper workout routine and find a proper diet for yourself.

Fitness Toning And Abs Workout

November 2nd, 2007

Millions of people all around the world attempt to do daily exercises to get them those toned abs that they have been dreaming of however a lot of times although they are doing the exercises their technique is hindering their fitness toning and abs workout results.

Many people have the misconception that during the day they can eat whatever they want and then at night time they can simply do their crunches to work off all those fat foods they put into their bodies however this is simply incorrect. The truth is if you put too much junk food into your body, it doesn’t matter how many crunches you do your results will be minimal if any.

Not only that however you may get reverse results which means your stomach might actually get bigger. You may wonder how this is possible but it is. The reason being I because muscle is being built on top of the already existing fat. Well all have fat on our stomach however we must work it off by toning our abs and stomach. Your number 1 goal should be to lose your fat and you do that by having a good diet and actually following it lower amount of fats and calories and higher amount of protein will help you get the best results.

Protein is something that you very much need for your fitness toning and abs workout. Many people don’t know or believe the fact that quality is better than quantity but it is. So 50 good quality crunches are a lot better than 250 half done crunches that were just rushed. The final thing that people need to realize is that you cannot just concentrate on one area. If you only concentrate on one area your body will not build up enough metabolism to burn off excess fat. If you listen to this advice you will be soon finding yourself with a much more desirable body.

Pilates Abs Exercises

October 25th, 2007

Pilates was created by Joseph Pilates, during the First World War. It is an exercise that primarily focuses on strengthening and creating a better looking stomach and buttocks. it also increases your flexibility improves your posture and strengthens the body’s muscles.

You do not only exercise the body, you also exercise your mind with the breathing concentration needed to complete your pilates abs exercises. By making the whole body tighter pilates would be the perfect exercise for someone who wants to tone up those abs.

There are several different pilates abs exercises such as, plank. This is when you are in the push up position and you are using your elbows to support your body weight. You then contract your abs holding this position for 30 to 60 seconds and repeat as many times as possible.

There is also the 100s position, in which you lie flat on your back with your legs together and straight. Lifting your head and shoulders off the ground you pull in your abs. You then lower your legs as close as possible to the ground  while keeping your back on the ground. Inhale and exhale for 5 seconds each time and then repeat one hundred times.

Most fitness programs and people teach you the more you do the better it is, however pilates teaches you that the quality of each movement is much better than quantity. So, for example instead of doing 50 leg raises opting to do 20 reps would be better because you get tired less quickly and you can focus on holding every move and the quality of it instead of just powering through 50 and getting it over with.

There are many different pilates abs exercise videos available on the market to show the exercises in action, however you should always consult your physician before you choose to begin any new exercise program.

How To Develop Six Pack Abs Without Ab Exercises

September 11th, 2007

If you’d like to know how to achieve six-pack abs, without countless ab exercises (such as crunches) then this article will tell you how this is possible.

You see, one of the biggest myths around when it comes to developing killer abs is that it takes hundreds of daily crunches to achieve. When the truth is that it’s actually possible to have six-pack abs without any crunches at all.

This is because having a six-pack is largely a matter of nutrition. The secret to having a six-pack is to lower your body fat percentage. If you have a high body fat percentage, then your abs will be “covered” by a layer of fat. The truth is that you don’t need to “develop” six pack abs at all - you just need to “uncover” them, because they are there already!

So how exactly can you do this? Well one of the most effective ways is to find a good nutritional program designed to lower your body fat percentage. Then you can also develop your abs with a few simple exercises (you can even use crunches) if you want to tone your abs some more once you’ve uncovered them.

Another commonly practiced way of lowering your body fat percentage is through intensive cardio training. But recent research has shown that the usual “steady-pace” cardio is largely ineffective. This is because your body will eventually learn to acclimatize to this regular workout.

It’s also a good idea to stay away from the ab machines and gadgets commonly sold on infomercials. These things do very little to improve your physique - they are a waste of time. When it comes to toning your abs in this way, it’s often a better idea to stick to the tried and tested work-outs such as crunches and other floor exercises.

In conclusion, developing a killer six-pack isn’t as hard as it seems - as long as you go the right way about it. The wrong way is to focus entirely on your abs with crunches, as this will achieve very little results.

the appearance of my abs, but whenever I do the exercise I really

to be.

Nowadays, there’s much hype over different ab diets and hence the
success of the ab diet series of books. You can get yourself a copy

Free Diet Plans To Get Ripped Abs

August 22nd, 2007

In the late 90’s it was all about ab machines and
ab routines
to help you get a six pack. Now in
the late 2000’s it seems we are turning more to
diets to get those ripped abs.

Why is there this sudden change in behaviour? I would
say it’s mainly because people have started to see
that the ab machines and the different exercises
don’t seem to work the wonders they have been advertised
to work. People have bought all the gadgets and all
the abs exercise routines and DVDs, and there does not
seem to be many changes in the way their six pack
has developed.

Now the “nutritionists” are now advocating the wonders
of the “Abs Diets”. Their arguement is that the exercises
alone and the machines alone are not sufficient, thats
why they don’t seem to work. In order to get the
ripped six pack abs you need to eat right too. So that’s
how the importance of your diet has come into play as
far as your ab workouts and your ab exercises are
concerned.

Due to the fact that this approach is pretty new, most
of the resources available do cost money. But we live
in the age of free information, thanks to the internet
people have gotten used to being able to get free
information on almost anything you need. People are now
searching for free diet plans to get ripped abs.

So can you rely on this free information? Usually free
information is concise and straight to the point. It is
written to entice you to buy a certain product in most
cases. The author gives you enough to get you interested
but not enough for you to really get what you really,
really need.

I personally would not rely on the free information,
it maybe sufficient to get you started, but to really get
you going you are going to have to invest in some real
good expert information. Forget the free diet plans to
get
ripped abs, purchase reliable information or get
yourself a personal trainer to develop an abs diet for you.
